"You don’t need twenty - twenty vision to go and have a ‘look see’ at The Cumbrian Optical Company in Brampton. And, even if your vision is only slightly *compromised*, you really should leave the pavement, step over the threshold and meet ‘the team’. A more professional….but at the same time, a more ‘caring’ group of optical experts would be hard to find, even with perfect eyesight. On a personal level, I have had a few eye related issues over the last couple of years and all were dealt with brilliantly by the staff at the Cumbrian Optical Company. New ‘State of the Art’ optical equipment endorses their commitment to the patient’s needs and expectations but it is the genuine care and consideration that really shines through.

‘If you can come in now - you may have to wait a little but Katie will see you. Don’t worry we’ll fit you in’. That is service! No hard sell either. ‘No need for new glasses - your eyes haven’t changed since your last test - no need to spend money if you don’t have to’. A refreshing attitude (in these *money grabbing* times) which helps to restore one’s faith in human nature - it certainly did for me!. So seriously, pop in for a ‘look see’, I guarantee you will not be disappointed, and no eye-watering prices should you need some new specs!

"I honestly could not recommend Cumbrian Optical Company highly enough. When at age 7 my daughter complained that she was struggling to see the board at school I made an appointment to get her eyes checked and I am so glad I did.

Katie treated us with absolute care and professionalism and most importantly put my little girl at ease. Everything was fully explained in a way she understood and she was given all the time she needed.
Upon finding out that glasses were required they helped my daughter come to terms with this change and Karen and Philippa boosted her confidence by helping her choose her own very grown up pink frames!

Fast forward a few months and because of our absolute trust in Katie and their wonderful relationship with my child she decided to try contact lenses. Again Katie treated her with incredible patience, compassion and encouragement and after a few initial challenges getting used to the lenses she absolutely has not looked back...She wears lenses most days!!! I honestly don't believe this would have been possible had we taken her anywhere else.
